Lauren's Birth Announcement

Lauren's mommy wanted to combine her birth announcement with their moving announcement and the timing on when they were getting these mailed meant we could also make this their family holiday card. Convenient!

Here's what we came up with (names and info have been changed to protect privacy).

Audrey's Birth Announcement

When Audrey was born, her mommy and daddy had JUST moved into their new house. They closed escrow on her due date! It was also a great time for them to combine both announcements with their holiday card. So that's what we did!

We included a Christmas greeting and the family's new address (no, that's not their actual address!).

Welcome to the world Audrey!

Our Holiday Card - 2013

Even though we took some great family photos in July of 2013 with my dear friend Cari Hollis, it took me forever to design a holiday card and get them printed and mailed. I was newly pregnant and dealing with all of the "fun" that comes with the first trimester. Knowing I wouldn't get them out before Christmas, I turned them into a Happy New Year card instead of a Christmas card. I thought they turned out pretty awesome.

VistaPrint continues to wow me with their print quality and affordability.

This design is one of the ones I have listed for sale in my Etsy shop. Check it out!

Happy New Year!!

Tommy's Holiday Card

I had already designed and printed our family's holiday cards when we discovered the awesomeness of Santa photos with FotoFly; a photography studio local to us in Salt Lake City. They have one of the parents dress up in the Santa costume and then do more unique poses that don't show Santa's face. Doing this means the kids (especially babies & toddlers) are more likely to be more comfortable in front of the camera when they're in the arms of a parent... and the parent is more likely to get a few awesome photos.

Because I wanted to share the photos we got of our son, I printed a dozen of "his" Christmas card to send to grandparents and some of his friends.

Merry Christmas!
